UNDP Volunteer: Coordination Associate

Job Description

The purpose of this assignment is to assist in facilitating effective communication and coordination between stakeholders, ensuring alignment of activities and objectives.

The Volunteer will provide support to the organization and follow-up of high-level meetings, technical working groups, and coordination platforms. Additionally, the Volunteer will represent UNDP in relevant forums, meetings, and consultations related to the 4RF/FRP framework.

The Volunteer will facilitate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at both Federal & Provincial levels. Furthermore, the Volunteer will assist in building strategic partnerships and mobilizing support for UNDP-led initiatives under the 4RF/FRP Programme.

The Volunteer will coordinate the collection and dissemination of programme-related information, including donor briefs, progress updates, and analytical reports. In addition, the Volunteer will support the development and maintenance of documentation, reports, and knowledge management systems for effective implementation.

The Volunteer will draft meeting minutes, briefing notes, concept notes, and official correspondence. The Volunteer will also ensure that government and donor priorities are adequately reflected in the implementation of the 4RF/FRP Programme.

Living Conditions

As a national UNV assignment, the Volunteer will be responsible for arranging their own housing and other living essentials. The UNV Field Unit will assist in opening a local bank account for duty station purposes.

Assignment remarks: A Volunteer Living Allowance (VLA) of PKR 131,371 is provided monthly to cover housing, utilities, and normal cost of living expenses. Life health and permanent disability insurance are included, as well as final repatriation and resettlement allowance for satisfactory service.
