Job Title

We are seeking an accomplished leader to drive our Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) function across multiple site locations.

This senior role involves overseeing the development and implementation of comprehensive safety management systems aligned with international best practices.

  • Safety Leadership
    • Develop and lead the HSE vision and strategy for the organization.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership and site teams to embed a culture of safety excellence.
    • Establish and maintain effective safety policies and procedures.

Risk Management

  • Identify and assess process safety hazards, developing mitigation strategies to minimize risks.
  • Lead the implementation of process safety elements such as MOC (Management of Change), PHA (Process Hazard Analysis), and emergency preparedness.
  • Conduct incident investigations, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.

Audit & Compliance

  • Plan, execute and manage HSE audits across sites, ensuring timely close-out of findings and regulatory inspections.
  • Maintain group-wide HSE KPIs, conducting trend analysis and recommending improvements.
  • Develop and enforce Level 1 Safety, Fire Protection, and Emergency Response Standards aligned with relevant industry standards.

Employee Safety & Training

  • Develop a comprehensive HSE training program for group-wide personnel.
  • Lead education programs on mental health, first aid, and environmental management.
  • Standardize PPE procurement, ensuring items meet global standards.
  • Drive proactive risk assessments, hazard investigations, and incident reporting systems.

Team Management

  • Manage and mentor a team of HSE professionals.
  • Lead performance reviews, approve leave schedules, and design development plans.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in chemical engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 15 years' experience in leading HSE roles within fertilizer, petrochemical, or large-scale process plant industries.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Proven expertise in managing audits, risk assessments, and emergency response systems.
  • Proficient in SAP for audit planning and safety data management.
