Job Title: Senior Direct Response Copywriter

Description:

We're seeking an experienced copywriter to join our team and lead the strategic direction of our copy across ads, funnels, and email campaigns. As a senior direct response copywriter, you will be responsible for crafting compelling ad copy, writing effective email sequences, and creating landing pages that drive action.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Crafting scroll-stopping ad copy for Meta, Google, TikTok, and LinkedIn ads
  • Writing email sequences (nurture, sales, and reactivation) that convert
  • Creating landing pages, sales pages, and opt-ins that drive action
  • Drafting video sales letters (VSLs), upsell scripts, and lead magnet copy
  • Developing offers and refining brand messaging alongside strategists
  • Running A/B tests and optimizing based on conversion data
  • Mentoring junior copywriters and setting quality standards
  • Working directly with clients and performance marketers to refine strategy

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • 3–6 years of direct response or performance copywriting experience
  • Ability to write in clear, punchy, persuasive language that moves people to action
  • Knowledge and application of Dan Kennedy, Brunson, Ogilvy, and Garry Halbert principles
  • Understanding of sales psychology, offers, urgency, scarcity, and CTA optimization
  • Experience working with or for US-based clients and understanding their buying mindset
  • Able to think strategy-first, not just sentence-first
  • Experience with ClickFunnels, GoHighLevel, Skool, Kajabi, Klaviyo, etc.
