Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HR Assistant to join our team. As an HR Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the HR function and providing administrative assistance to the HR management team.

\

The successful candidate will have excellent administrative and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. They will be responsible for maintaining digital records of employees, serving as a point of contact for benefit vendors and administrators, and assisting with recruitment and performance management procedures.

\

Additionally, the HR Assistant will be responsible for scheduling meetings and interviews, coordinating training sessions and seminars, performing orientations and updating records of new staff, producing and submitting reports on general HR activity, processing payroll, and resolving any payroll errors.

\

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field, 2 years of experience as an HR assistant, and exposure to labor law and employment equity regulations.

\

You will also need to have effective HR administration and people management skills, exposure to payroll practices, a full understanding of HR functions and best practices, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

\
