Production Manager Assistant Role

The Production Manager Assistant is a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the production department. This position involves gaining insights into current problems and risks through regular monitoring and analysis of management, maintenance, and section logbooks.

The ideal candidate will possess practical and theoretical knowledge of equipment operation in various process areas and be able to coordinate effectively with other departments to maximize quality and productivity.

Responsibilities
  • Gather and analyze data from management, maintenance, and section logbooks to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Monitor staff work and operations in each section, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Maintain complete knowledge about all activities related to milk powder production, including processing parameters and working procedures.
  • Ensure the smooth functioning of each section within the production department by coordinating maintenance activities with the engineering department.
  • Train shift engineers and provide guidance to ensure the plant runs smoothly, addressing abnormalities and non-conformities in a timely manner.
  • Prepare activity reports of the plant and discuss them with the Production Manager, implementing corrective and preventive measures as necessary.
  • Communicate processing parameters and working procedures to staff, ensuring adherence to SOPs.
  • Check and sign dispatch notes for cream, butter, and milk powder, maintaining accurate records.
Job Specifications
  • Adhere to standards such as HALAL, ISO, HACCP, Environment, URSA, Punjab Food Authority, and PSQCA.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by management related to the above responsibilities.
