
Business Development Representative

The role of Customer Development Executive involves ensuring the optimal distribution of products and implementing customer development strategies to achieve sales and distribution objectives in a designated zone.
Key responsibilities include:
- Distribution Management: Trade management, identifying new markets/accounts, adding specialty wholesalers, classifying stores according to accurate RE, advising SSM efforts to reduce non-purchasers, and optimizing activations to drive sales.
- Sales Call Efficiency: Selling stories range selling, handling objections, etc.
In-Store Management:
- Prioritize accounts for maximum impact through visibilities, ensuring coverage of top 2 outlets in every route.
Market Updates:
- Secure and draw insights from competitive information available in the public domain regarding new products, activities, schemes, and other developments.
Data-Based Working and Communication:
- Use data to drive overall business performance, set objectives for market visits, review sales associates and PSR performance against plan, and review stockiest performance against plan.
Developing and Training:
- Train and develop sales associates through required training modes, mentor and empower them to perform well by ensuring they avail CP benefits, acknowledge issues faced by sales associates, and provide support to resolve it.
Meetings:
- Conduct effective monthly and weekly sales associates meetings.
Reporting:
- Compile reports and information as per requirements communicated by AM.
Relationship Building:
- Maintain trust and understanding in working with stockists and trade, partner with key wholesalers to drive business, share success stories, communicate programs, build off-takes, mutually work towards category growth, and resolve issues.
Experience and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of work experience in FMCG companies is required.
Professional Qualifications:
- A postgraduate degree in Business Administration is essential.
