Job Title:

Lead Commercial Sales Engineers to drive product expertise and technical demonstration delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of Sales Engineers, focusing on product knowledge and technical skills.
  • Oversee team activities, ensuring effective resource allocation and consistent high-quality technical support for commercial sales engagements.
  • Collaborate with Sales Managers to strategize key accounts, identify customer pain points, and develop tailored solutions.
  • Conduct regular one-on-ones and team meetings to foster a collaborative environment and address challenges.
  • Review and approve technical proposals, demonstrations, and presentations prepared by your team.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues, providing guidance and support.
  • Contribute to training materials and programs for Sales Engineers, focusing on product knowledge and technical skills.
  • Participate in recruitment and onboarding of new Sales Engineers, helping to build a strong and diverse team.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a leadership or team lead role within a technical pre-sales or Sales Engineering capacity.
  • Bachelor's Degree required, Bachelor's of Science preferred.
  • Proven experience as an individual contributing Sales Engineer with a strong track record of success.
  • Excellent coaching and mentoring skills, with a passion for developing talent.
  • Strong understanding of commercial sales cycles and the role of pre-sales in accelerating deals.
  • Familiarity with value selling concepts and methodologies.
  • Strong technical aptitude with practical experience of SaaS, hardware, IoT, and potentially AI/ML technologies.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems and propose effective solutions.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of the Pakistani market and local business practices is a plus.
