CNC Machine Shop Manager Job Description

This senior management position requires a highly skilled professional to manage the CNC Machine Shop and liaise with various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage metal cutting operations on Lathe and Milling machines.
  • Develop and maintain good working knowledge of CAD / CAM software.
  • Evaluate material standards and ensure compliance.
  • Oversee CNC Machining / Programming activities.
  • Implement machining standards and best practices.
  • Select and procure tools, as well as read catalogs.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machines.
  • Lead production and development efforts.

  • Resourceful and able to independently handle projects.
