Centralized Payments Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to provide support in managing all payments relating to external vendors and reimbursement to staff.

Main Responsibilities
  • System Implementation:
    • Assist in the implementation of Oracle Accounts Payable, collaborating with the IT team to ensure seamless integration with Core Banking and overall infrastructure. Understand configuration requirements in Oracle Financials modules namely, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Expense.
    • Actively participate in UATs and authenticate correct results for implementation.
  • Payments & Fixed Assets:
    • Process payments to external suppliers of goods and services forming part of Admin Expenses based on approval as per Authority Delegation of the entity. Maintain TAT for invoice processing.
    • Process all payments related to staff forming part of cost in line with HR Policies e.g. Reimbursement of expenses incurred for Companies' business, duly authorized as per Authority Delegation Manual.
    • Record accounting transactions related to payments made to external suppliers and staff in Oracle Financials (Accounts Payable, Fixed Asset, General Ledger), HRMS, WPS, I-flex in line with accounting policies under Chart of Accounts.
    • Evaluate payment approvals received/processed for genuineness, proper authority, HR Policies, matching of PO with invoices, duplication of payments, accuracy, and correct recording to avoid inherent financial risks.
    • Reconcile and manage various suspense accounts e.g. Prepaid Expenses, Advance for Work & Purchases, Advance to Suppliers, Recoverable from staff & others and ensure regular follow-up and timely settlement avoiding inherent risks.
    • Assist in managing Fixed Assets/Intangible books including Capitalization and Depreciation/Amortization.
    • Manage WHT deductions, Sales Tax withholding pertaining to payments and stay abreast of changes in requirements and implement them.
    • Ccoordinate with Admin/IT for review of cost booked in Project accounts for their reclassification as Fixed Asset/Capitalized Expenditure/Expenses.

This is a challenging role requiring strong analytical and technical skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in implementing Oracle Accounts Payable and working with the IT team to ensure seamless integration.
