Financial Planning and Leadership Role

The organization is seeking a seasoned Finance Manager to lead the financial planning and management of its operations. This executive will play a pivotal role in driving strategic decisions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and fostering business growth.

This critical position requires a seasoned professional with expertise in financial planning, risk management, and strategic advisory. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing complex financial systems, developing effective financial strategies, and providing sound leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive financial plans to support business growth and sustainability.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team and board members.

Financial Operations and Reporting:

  • Oversee timely and accurate financial reporting, adhering to regulatory standards.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury operations effectively.
  • Ensure robust financial controls and internal audit readiness.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and tax laws.
  • Lead annual statutory audits and collaborate with external/internal auditors.
  • Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.

Investor and Stakeholder Management:

  • Manage relationships with banks, investors, and stakeholders.
  • Support fundraising efforts and investor relations through financial modeling and projections.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing finance team.
  • Implement financial systems, ERP, and automation to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • CA Finalist/ACCA/ICMA or MBA-Finance degree.
  • Minimum 5-6 years of experience in senior finance leadership roles.
  • Experience in fintech, telecom, or Ed-Tech preferred.
  • Strong expertise in financial planning, reporting, compliance, and strategic advisory.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Sound leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficient in ERP systems and financial tools.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of digital financial services.
