About the Role

Mobilink Microfinance Bank Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Relationship Manager Asset Sales to join our team. This role requires a deep understanding of client relationships, fostering a customer-centric approach while leveraging financial expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement sales/service plans to achieve growth objectives by collaborating with Business Managers/Relationship Managers to agree on micro-level sales/service delivery plans.
  • Establish and develop customer relationships as per defined SOPs.
  • Achieve sales targets/objectives in assigned areas with best ethics and moral practices by following SOPs.
  • Ensure genuine sales through avoiding family loaning, activist base lending, and adjustment lending.
  • Make business profitable by selling loans and enhancing customer numbers by following bank SOPs.
  • Develop marketing strategies for company products.
  • Persuasion and negotiation skills are essential.
  • Identify business opportunities by evaluating prospects and industry position.
  • Evaluate customers' profiles using the five C's of credit.
  • Communicate product terms and conditions to customers.
  • Conduct physical verification of prospective clients to ensure on-track performance.
  • Ensure proactive collection and timely repayment of loans by communicating with clients and ensuring 100% collections by following bank SOPs.
  • Handle customers' legal documents carefully to avoid misuse.
  • Guide customers to deposit repayments at cash counters only.
  • Avoid cash handling for customers while performing RO functions; however, follow strict collection manual compliance for field collections.
  • Prepare weekly field activity planners and mark deviations in consultation with Line Managers.
  • Organize monthly/quarterly customer meetings as per defined products programs.
  • Conduct loan bookings strictly complying with bank policies, procedures, ethics, and standards.
  • Continuously review product and service knowledge and recommend improvements based on personal/client feedback.
  • Conduct market assessments/research to identify new markets/areas and review existing ones for final decisions in consultation with the line manager.
  • Meet internal service standards and ensure no service-related complaints from customers by following the bank's fair treatment policy.
  • Develop and sustain long-lasting relationships between the bank and customers.
  • Report cases of fraud or potential loss to the bank by internal or external customers to the line manager/HOD.
  • Comply with bank products SOPs and SBPs rules and regulations to safeguard the bank's reputation and prevent financial, operational, and market losses.
  • Responsible for directing, coordinating, and evaluating microcredit business.
  • Lead branches effectively to achieve profitability objectives/targets and sell asset products while adhering to MMBL policies and SBP regulations.
  • Implement sales plans through market assessments based on potential.
  • Develop relationship strategies for assigned branches/areas of responsibility focusing on verification, loans disbursement, collection, and cross-selling.
  • Manage asset portfolios and help achieve assigned targets through timely sales, verification, and collection.
  • Build and retain high motivation levels in teams to achieve maximum business volumes and employee retention.
  • Market bank products and prepare sales strategies considering assigned targets and market demands.
  • Require aptitude for persuasion and negotiation.
  • Evaluate and assess customers' profiles using the five C's of credit.
  • As a Line Manager of Relationship Officers - Asset Sales, ensure they are highly productive in their individual capacity, trained, and assisted to assume positions as first-level credit reviews that can correctly assess and verify customers' income/demographics to establish customer needs and credibility for proposed loans.
  • Manage, develop, coach, control, and motivate sales forces to achieve high professional standards and meet monthly sales target/KPI targets.
  • Undertake capacity planning to meet assigned tangible objectives of loan volumes and zero defaults through effective and timely verification, collection, and cross-selling.
  • Organize resources to match business priorities in the branch and maximize productivity of each team member in terms of assigned objectives.
  • Coordinate with operations departments to ensure timely loan disbursals by following SOPs of loan disbursement and cancellation processes.
