Employment Opportunity: Assistant Professor Medical Imaging Technology

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced academic professional to fill the position of Assistant Professor/Head of Medical Imaging Technology. This leadership role requires a combination of academic excellence and administrative responsibility, overseeing department operations, faculty, and student development while actively contributing to teaching and research.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide academic and administrative leadership to the Medical Imaging Technology department.
  • Teach undergraduate courses in the field, ensuring high-quality instruction and curriculum development.
  • Supervise research projects and clinical training activities, fostering collaboration among students and faculty.
  • Develop, review, and enhance curriculum as per HEC and regulatory body standards, ensuring compliance and quality assurance.
  • Foster partnerships with clinical institutions for student placements, facilitating practical learning experiences.
  • Ensure quality assurance, faculty development, and student mentoring, promoting a culture of excellence within the department.
  • Contribute to the university's strategic goals through departmental planning and innovation, driving growth and improvement.
  • Participate in recruitment events, both on and off-campus, engaging with prospective students and promoting the program.
Requirements
  • MS/MPhil in Medical Imaging Technology from an HEC recognized institute with minimum 4 years post MS/MPhil Medical Imaging Technology experience.
  • Preference will be given to candidates holding a PhD (or currently enrolled in a PhD program) with at least 3 years of proven administrative experience as Head of Department.
  • Strong leadership, communication, academic planning, and research abilities, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
