
Territory Manager for Sales and Distribution

We are seeking an experienced Territory Manager to oversee the distributors and trade in our designated territory, ensuring efficient distribution operations and delivering sales targets.
About the RoleThis role offers an opportunity to develop a deep understanding of the world of sales and drive meaningful change through our purposeful growth and digital transformation agenda. As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for managing the business to achieve desired ambition, uplifting competitive visibility in store, and coordinating with distributors and customers to execute operational plans.
Main Responsibilities- Drive Business Growth: Drive business to desired ambition Underlying Volume/Sales Growth.
- Improve Store Visibility: Uplift competitive visibility in store.
- Coordinate Operational Plans: Coordinate with distributor/customer operational plans/executions.
- Negotiate with Customers: Negotiate with customer for joint business planning.
- Plan Efficient Routes: Efficiently plan and manage eRTM, build optimized routes for DSRs.
- Digital Transformation: Support digital transformation strategy for your territory.
- Financial Acumen: Have acumen for Financial Matrix – Business Profitability/Gross Margin.
- Team Leadership: Lead and drive extended team – Build team & develop talent.
- Accountability: Be accountable to uphold business Key Performance Indicators.
- Analytical Skills: Redefine process post execution analysis with strong analytical skills.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree.
- Experience: 1-4 years of relevant sales experience in FMCG industry preferred.
- Business Acumen: Strong business and financial acumen.
- Communication Skills: Strong Communication and Negotiation Skills.
- Technical Skills: Command over Microsoft Office and Power BI.
- Market Knowledge: Active feet on street and market time.
- Strategic Thinking: Capability to Strategize and possess strong execution skills.
- Competition Insights: Updated with competition insights.
- Leadership Qualities: This is an empowered role hence the resource should display accountability, responsibility and have strong bias for action.
