
HR Generalist

The key to success in this role is the ability to develop and implement effective human resources practices, leading to a positive and productive work environment. As a strategic HR Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance and policy management, compensation and benefits, and strategic planning.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract top talent, managing the end-to-end recruitment process, and overseeing the onboarding process.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, fostering a positive work environment through effective conflict resolution and mediation, and conducting regular employee engagement surveys and implementing improvement initiatives.
- Developing and administering performance appraisal programs, providing coaching and guidance to managers on performance management and employee development, and implementing training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career progression.
- Ensuring compliance with all federal and state labor laws and regulations, developing and updating HR policies and procedures, and maintaining and managing employee records and HR documentation.
- Overseeing payroll administration and ensuring accuracy and compliance, managing employee benefits programs, and conducting salary benchmarking and reviews to ensure competitive compensation packages.
- Partnering with senior management to develop HR strategies aligned with business objectives, driving initiatives to improve workplace diversity, equity, and inclusion, and leading organizational change management efforts.
Required qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in human resources management, preferably in a professional services or accounting firm.
- In-depth knowledge of Australian labor laws and HR best practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
