Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain an up-to-date understanding of technologies and industry trends.
  • Provide knowledge and mentorship to team members and other colleagues.
  • Collaborate with other leads and seniors to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Promote coding standards and best practices.
  • Lead technical efforts towards successful project delivery.
  • Contribute to the direction and scope of technical vision within your stream.
  • Work closely with product, infrastructure, design, UX, CLM, and strategy teams to deliver high-quality products.
  • Build high-performing teams by hiring A-players.
  • Owning business KPIs as a conduit to the product team and business functions.
  • Make technical decisions that align with company vision and direction.
  • Coach individuals in the team to become technical leaders.

Requirements

">
  • 6+ years of software engineering experience.
  • In-depth understanding of open source technologies like Python, PHP, or Java.
  • Knowledge of free and open-source web application frameworks.
  • Experience with source code control, build process management, CI/CD, automated testing, and development processes.
  • Understanding of creating and architecting systems that are highly scalable and available.
  • Good leadership, coaching, and mentoring principles.
  • Experience working on high-traffic and large-scale web products is a plus.
  • Experience with Agile Methodologies such as Kanban, Scrum, and XP.
  • Understanding of good product, design, and UX principles.
  • Experience in analysis, design, coding, and implementation of next-generation web applications.
