Job Overview:

The Escalation Management Officer role is a critical position within our organization, responsible for managing complex transactions, conducting enhanced due diligence, interacting with customers, and providing guidance and resolutions to compliance and customer service teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Handle escalated queries via tickets and provide guidance to customer-facing staff on these matters.
  2. Process transactions for payout, ensuring compliance with relevant rules and regulations.
  3. Maintain knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures.
  4. Assess escalated sanctions and PEP screening alerts.
  5. Perform additional EDD measures, including verifying sources of funds and obtaining proof of funds from customers breaching thresholds.
  6. Investigate complex or unusual transactions or customer behavior and conduct enhanced due diligence.
  7. Report suspicions to the MLRO promptly.
  8. Participate in compliance projects as assigned by the team leader or Deputy Manager Compliance.
  9. Complete periodic AML/CTF training and other relevant training.
  10. Perform miscellaneous duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Law, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail for accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
