
Sales Territory Representative

Role Summary:
- This role involves working as a sales representative to promote pharmaceutical products to practicing physicians, hospitals, and other health-related organizations/personnel within an assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Presentation and Selling Skills: The ideal candidate will be responsible for making professional presentations using selling skills to listed doctors on the approved indications of Pfizer products with a view to increase prescriptions.
- Call Planning and Reporting: The representative is expected to prepare his weekly and monthly call plans and submit them for approval to his HRM. He must also submit his call reports on the prescribed forms to his HRM as per the prescribed scheduled.
- Product Knowledge and Updates: The representative should arrange Product Group Meetings with the doctors to discuss one or two products in detail. He must update his knowledge on competitive products and collect and report information on promotional and marketing moves of the competition.
- Feedback and Coordination: The representative will provide periodic feedback to his manager and the marketing group on his own promotional activities. He must coordinate with distributors for desired stock availability of his products with the retail outlets.
- Tech Support and Record Keeping: The representative should forward technical queries raised by his doctors to the Medical Division for clarification with intimation to the Health Representative Manager. He must ensure proper dressing, maintenance of records, detailing kit and vehicle, and submit his expenses and leave plans as per the deadlines.
- Competitive Intelligence: The representative will responsibly provide information about competitive activities observed by him in his area to HRM, SM and Marketing.
Required Qualifications:
- A Science graduate, preferably with Pharmacy education.
- 1-2 years of experience in Pharmaceuticals Selling (Anti-Infectives).
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have excellent presentation and selling skills, be able to work independently, and maintain accurate records. He/She must be a team player and have good communication skills.
