Job Title: Cash Transaction Officer

About the Role:
  • We are seeking an experienced professional to manage all aspects of cash transactions, ensuring seamless processing and adherence to bank policies.
  • This role requires strong analytical skills to record denominations, request additional cash when needed, and balance currency notes before storage.
  • You will be responsible for safeguarding outstanding cheques and ATM cards, ensuring delivery and destruction comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Liaising with other teams is essential to maintain business-as-usual operations, floor management, and service quality.
  • Recovering service charges on instruments and banking facilities according to established procedures is also a key responsibility.
  • Maintaining accurate general ledger accounts and ensuring they are reconciled and balanced at all times is crucial.
  • The successful candidate will demonstrate compliance with Bank's Policies, SOPs, SBP's Prudential Regulations, AML/CFT/CPF/KYC/Sanctions Policy, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Additionally, maintaining clean ratings in reviews and inspections by Quality Assurance Unit, Compliance, Internal, External, and SBP Audits is expected.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of relevant experience in financial services or banking operations.
  • Numerical and financial analysis skills are necessary to succeed in this role.
  • A good understanding of financial services, banking products, and banking operations is required.
  • Knowledge of AML/KYC principles is essential.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel is mandatory.
  • Strong communication, conflict management, and customer service skills are necessary to excel in this position.
  • Familiarity with Islamic Banking practices is advantageous.
