Event Venue Coordinator Role

This role involves overseeing the daily operations of an event venue, ensuring a clean, safe and welcoming environment.

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the venue, including cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Conduct routine inspections and coordinate necessary repairs.
  • Handle procurement of supplies needed for venue operations.
  • Keep detailed inventory and purchasing records to ensure efficiency and cost control.
  • Provide informative tours for potential clients and visitors.
  • Coordinate logistics, bookings and staff assignments for scheduled events.
  • Manage documentation related to bookings, vendor contracts and compliance.
  • Oversee and process all payments related to venue bookings.
  • Schedule visitor appointments accurately and coordinate their timings to avoid conflicts.
  • Ensure all paperwork and approvals are completed before each event.
  • Assist in graphic design tasks such as creating promotional materials.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in venue, event or operations management.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with experience handling documents and payments.
  • Customer service or hospitality experience is highly desirable.
  • Basic maintenance and facility oversight skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and procurement processes.
  • Graphic design skills are an advantage.
  • Flexible availability including evenings and weekends as needed.
