Job Opportunity: Financial Operations Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accounting services for entities across Pakistan and working closely with the team based in Islamabad, Pakistan.

  • This role involves monthly/quarterly/annual reporting and risk identification, account reconciliations, completing Flux analysis, and month-end closing tasks.
  • The Accounting Manager will also be responsible for preparing statutory accounts for assigned countries, managing statutory audit, ensuring timely adjustments, researching and resolving accounting issues, and owning legal entity matters.
  • Continuous review of processes for improvement opportunities and effective control environment is essential for this role.
  • Collaboration and support to other departments including Tax, Legal, HR, CRE, Business unit is required.
  • This role involves active participation in corporate initiatives, including process improvement, new system implementation, acquisitions, through country-specific and discipline-specific knowledge.
  • Closing coordination with shared services center teams (FA, IC, GL, AR, AP) is necessary.

  • You will work closely with the Team leader and other team members on day-to-day tasks.
  • You will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely accounting information, which may involve close collaboration with other specialized departments and stakeholders.

What Makes You a Qualified Candidate

  • CA/ICMA/ACCA qualification or part-qualification is preferred.
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in reputable organizations, including multinational companies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
