Job Title:

Database Developer

A dynamic team seeks a skilled Database Developer to join their ranks.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    Develop, implement and maintain database systems to meet business requirements.

  • Technical Requirements:

    Proficiency in designing and implementing database solutions using various techniques and methodologies.

  • Business Analysis:

    Assist in conducting needs analysis for the development of new systems and modification of existing systems.

  • Project Management:

    Build and deploy database modules, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.

  • Security and Compliance:

    Deploy security schemes to ensure user access and data integrity.

  • Documentation and Training:

    Create technical and architectural documentation, and actively participate in training and development activities.

  • Skills and Qualifications:

    Proven experience in transaction management, PL-SQL, T-SQL, load balancing, master/master & master/slave replication, DB clusters.

  • Experience:

    At least 3 years of experience in managing large-scale databases, including NoSQL databases in production environments.

  • Communication and Teamwork:

    Effective communication and collaboration with colleagues and customers.

  • Corporate Support:

    Participate in corporate activities, staff meetings and events as required.

  • Specialized Skills:

    Database development, data maintenance and performance tuning, database design, data warehousing, disaster recovery, reporting generation skills.

  • Database Experience:

    MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, SQLite, MongoDB, CouchDB, Hadoop, SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, Sybase, Teradata, Informix, Ingres, Amazon's SimpleDB.
