Database Expert

The position of Database Developer is a critical role in the HBS team, working on Time and Attendance Management Software for small, medium, and large organizations across various industries.

  • Develop advanced SQL and Oracle PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
  • Enhance database performance through indexing, query optimization, and schema refinement.
  • Create new database tasks for different purposes (e.g., email notifications when any process fails).
  • Familiarity with .NET Framework and C#.
  • Monitor and maintain database health, performance, and security.
  • Perform regular database backups and recovery.
  • Implement and maintain disaster recovery solutions.
  • Design and maintain ETL processes to import and export data between systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS) like SQL Server, or Oracle.
  • A good understanding of Oracle databases.
  • Experience with database design, normalization, and performance tuning.
  • Expertise in writing optimized T-SQL and PL/SQL queries.
  • Familiarity with Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, or SQL Server on Azure VMs and Azure Oracle Linux VMs.
  • Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
