Senior Automation Expert

This senior role involves guiding and overseeing solutions from augmented vendor resources to ensure delivery of high-performing Mobile Applications, Web Application Applications, and Integrations APIs.

We are seeking a skilled Solution and Automation Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for complete system analysis and solution design of all in-house developments as well as the complete test automation of the Jazz Cash Consumer and Merchant Mobile Applications.

The role reports directly to the Manager Application Design and is a key spokesman and project POC for internal and external stakeholders.

• Main Responsibilities:
• Design solution based on requirements received from business and lead a team of Technical resources to develop a solution as per requirements within the timeframe.
• Conduct thorough analysis of provided requirement artifacts for solution feasibility and completeness as per agreed scope.
• Evaluate new requirements feasibility as well as system impact and develop solution design along with development effort estimation.
• Act as key spokesman and project POC for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure all relevant test cases related to sprint or adhoc changes are catered in the automation testing suite for Business UATs, Sanity as well as regression testing.
• Complete design and implementation of the Mobile Testing Lab for Local and Cloud-based automation testing on multiple mobile handsets in parallel.
• Complete automation of Jazz Cash Mobile, Web, and USSD testing using AI-based codeless Testing platforms.
• Develop Design Documents for stakeholders and developers that acts as baseline for solution development and acceptance.
• Conduct dev handover sessions and regular progress check-ins with developers to ensure projects delivery as per desired business scope.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Mobile & Web Application Design and Development.
• Experience of working in FinTech serving architect or developer role.
• Project Management, Business Analysis, and Presentation skills in order to act as primary responsible person for projects delivery.
• Strong Analytical Skills to breakdown business requirements into technical use cases to create solution maps for developers to follow.
• Hands-on experience for solution/architecture designing on Cloud Solution e.g (AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM Cloud).
• Must have expertise on automation testing using Selenium, Appium Grid, Katalon, Playwright Browser Stack, Tricentis, Applitools, and similar automation testing platforms.
• Experience on Automation and optimization tools such as UI Path or Unit 21.
• Must have solution design and scaling expertise on cloud-based automation testing solutions.
• Hands-on experience on containerization frameworks and technologies like Dockers and Kubernetes along with ELK/EFK frameworks.
• Must have API Integration Expertise using SOAP and REST & have experience of developing API Specifications for Integration projects with Partners & Vendors.
• Knowledge of structured and unstructured Databases.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and related technologies will be a plus.
• Experience of Working in Agile, Scrum-based projects and should be able to estimate, document, & manage sprint deliverables.
• Knowledge of IP and Networks will be a plus.
• Competence on eCommerce Platforms and payment Gateways will be a plus.
• Analysis & Design experience on solutions for Mobile as well as USSD Channels.
• Must have knowledge of Regulatory Requirements for Digital Financial Services.
