About the Role:
The Senior Manager oversees all aspects of employee lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding, training, development, retention, and employee benefits.
This position reports directly to a senior executive and manages a team comprising an HR Officer and an Admin Officer.
It offers an attractive remuneration package reflecting the responsibilities and expertise required.
Key Responsibilities:Human Resources Management- Staffing and Recruitment: Design and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract top talent. Oversee the full recruitment cycle, including drafting job descriptions, advertising, interviewing, and negotiating offers.
- Onboarding and Integration: Create structured onboarding programs, facilitate orientation sessions, and ensure new hires are well-acquainted with company policies and culture.
- Training and Development: Conduct needs assessments, develop training calendars, monitor training effectiveness, and enhance programs continually.
- Employee Relations and Retention: Foster a positive work environment, address employee concerns, implement engagement initiatives, and develop retention strategies.
- Compensation & Benefits: Collaborate with external providers to manage employee benefits, ensuring competitiveness and compliance.
- Compliance & Policy: Develop and update HR policies, ensure legal compliance, and maintain accurate employee records.
- Office Maintenance & Support: Oversee infrastructure, manage vendor relationships, and ensure safety and cleanliness.
- Operational Efficiency: Develop policies and procedures to improve operations and ensure availability of resources.
- Team Supervision: Lead and evaluate the HR and Admin Officers, providing mentorship and ensuring goal achievement.
- Crisis Management: Handle unforeseen challenges affecting office operations.
- Collaboration with Leadership: Advise senior executives and align HR and admin strategies with business goals.
- Data and Reporting: Prepare reports on HR metrics, employee satisfaction, and operational efficiency, using data to recommend improvements.
- Stakeholder Management: Maintain relationships with external stakeholders like regulatory bodies.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 6-8 years of progressive HR and admin experience, including 2-4 years in a senior managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of HR systems, benefits management, and office tools.
