Payroll Operations Specialist

This role involves processing monthly payroll for Brazil and Mexico, working in PST time zone, with the work location in Hyderabad. The primary responsibility is to execute and manage critical activities related to payroll processing.

  • Validate payroll reports from service providers and ensure timely processing without errors.
  • Analyze variance reports and provide reasons for discrepancies in net pay.
  • Foster compliance, improve, and streamline payroll processes and procedures.
  • Respond to routine payroll inquiries from employees and partners.
  • Maintain a professional and customer-service-oriented approach while interacting with employees, managers, and business partners.
  • Process reimbursements/claims as per frequency.
  • Collaborate with HR, Legal, Finance, Stocks, and Benefits teams on various requirements.
  • Conduct internal audits and maintain/update standard operating procedures periodically.
  • Ensure accuracy, timelines, and compliance in payroll execution.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 7 years of experience in Brazil or Mexico payroll with large employee volumes and transactions.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of manual payroll processing.
  • Ability to meet deadlines with quality.
