Job Overview

The key objective of this position is to oversee and manage the daily activities within the accounting department.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing comprehensive financial reports, handling sales tax and income tax matters, generating management accounts and MIS reports, reviewing standard operating procedures from data posting to account completion, and providing insightful financial information to managerial staff while making informed recommendations.

  1. Financial Planning and Management: Develop and implement effective financial plans, monitor expenses, and optimize budget utilization.
  2. Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations, including sales tax and income tax.
  3. Accounting Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights. They will also demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
