About the Role

The Senior Manager, Office of the Vice Provost, Students will play a critical role in ensuring that Aga Khan University meets its strategic objective of providing all students with a holistic educational experience.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to join our team and contribute to the expansion of student engagement across all campuses and geographies. As a key member of the Office of the VP Students, you will provide oversight and support for student affairs staff, ensuring that all strategic operations, resources, events, and activities are applied in an equitable manner.

You will work closely with student affairs staff across all geographies to identify strategic areas of growth and development, oversee the development of centralized communication channels for all student affairs-related functions, and collaborate with the University Advancement Office to identify and generate sources of revenue via sponsorships.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with student affairs staff to identify strategic areas of growth and development

  • Collaborate with the University Advancement Office to identify and generate sources of revenue via sponsorships
  • Support the VP Students in creating and implementing departmental strategies
  • Manage the process, budget, and data collection for the Provost Experiential Learning Fund
  • Collaborate with the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion to help student affairs staff develop and assess student activities and programs
  • Support the VP Students in collaborating with college deans to develop co-curricular programs
  • Liaise with the VP Students and the Chief Facilities and Administration Officer to address student utilization and facility-related concerns
  • Support the VP Students in evaluating and managing student housing across all geographies
Requirements
  • A minimum of a Master's degree in Education, Student Affairs Administration, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • A minimum of four to six years of relevant experience in a related field
  • A strong record of leadership in managing and supporting professional and support staff
  • Broad knowledge of student activities, rights, and responsibilities, and local and national laws that may impact students
  • Experience with data collection and analysis for budgetary management and departmental decision-making
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population of students, faculty, and staff
  • Williness and ability to travel to other AKU campuses as needed
  • Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects to meet critical deadlines
