We are currently seeking an accomplished legal professional with a background in financial services to fill this position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with external law firms to draft, review and vet legal agreements and documents related to mortgage refinancing, bond issuance, Islamic business and Sukuk.
  • Oversee the vetting of internal documentation such as employee loan agreements, policies, procedures and manuals.
  • Review and ensure sound legal frameworks for employment and vendor contracts.
  • Conduct annual and ad-hoc legal reviews of mortgage loan documentation.
  • Provide expert opinions on refinancing and various contractual matters involving customers, vendors, shareholders and regulatory bodies.
  • Advise on legal matters related to both business and non-business operations.
  • Ensure full compliance with relevant regulations including SBP, SECP and PSX requirements.
  • Participate in client meetings to finalize commercial and legal arrangements.
  • A successful candidate must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law and have 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the financial sector.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.

They must have a thorough understanding of financial services, laws and regulations.

Effective teamwork and clear communication of complex ideas are essential qualities for this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in the financial sector
  • Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Thorough understanding of financial services, laws and regulations
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Capacity to communicate complex ideas clearly
