Accounting Assistant Role

This position focuses on receiving, verifying, and processing indirect invoices in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, with experience in dynamic, fast-paced environments being an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Matching invoices with purchase orders and contracts where applicable.
  • Communicating with vendors regarding invoice status, payment details, and dispute resolution.
  • Maintaining and updating vendor master data in the system.
  • Assisting in preparing payment runs.
  • Ensuring payments are made in accordance with agreed credit terms.
  • Filing and archiving all documentation per company requirements.
  • Adhering to internal controls and financial policies, escalating issues where necessary.
  • Reconciling vendor statements and resolving discrepancies.
  • Supporting month-end closing activities and generating AP reports as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or a related field.
  • Willingness to work under a third-party agency.
  • Approximately 2-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Experience in dynamic, fast-paced environments is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
