Job Overview

The Human Resources Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the recruitment, selection, and development of personnel. This includes planning and organizing company-wide recruitment procedures, allocating HR resources to ensure suitable matches between employees and their roles.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and administer applicant tests, identify staffing needs, interview, and select candidates based on their skills and qualifications.
  2. Administer compensation and benefits, performance management systems, training programs, and safety protocols for employees.
  3. Analyze data and reports to identify causes of personnel problems and develop recommendations for improving personnel policies and procedures.
  4. Maintain records and compile reports on personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, turnover rates, and absenteeism.
  5. Perform challenging staffing duties, including resolving disputes, terminating employment, and administering disciplinary actions against employees.
  6. Organize new employee orientation sessions to foster a positive work environment and align employees with organizational objectives.
  7. Plan, direct, control, or coordinate employee training and development, maintain quarterly training plans, perform training needs analysis, and assist with training material preparation.
  8. Update job descriptions and organizational charts to reflect changes in the company's structure and personnel.
  9. Manage the applicant-tracking database, prepare HR budgets, and forecast employment needs to inform future hiring decisions.
  10. Address employee issues and resolve conflicts through tactful communication and independent judgment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management (HRM) or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar capacity in a manufacturing concern.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
