Category Acquisition Expert

The Procurement Specialist will form part of the Supply Chain Team in Lahore. They will provide support for sourcing event drafts and contracting needs for category groups at the regional level, adhering to procurement strategies determined by corporations.
- Collaborate with the Category Lead to develop strategic plans, conduct market analysis, and create reports to drive negotiations and supplier selection.
- Support the execution of sourcing events within defined spend parameters as determined at corporate category group level.
- Ensure all procurement activities align with organizational policies, audit expectations, and country legislation.
- Maintain effective utilization of eProcurement tools made available by the organization.
- Develop and source alternatives to introduce new local/global suppliers into the system, address issues with suppliers such as quality, delivery, payments etc., and create contingency plans.
- Utilize reporting and analytics to inform key strategies and decisions for the category group.
- Monitor industry trends and evolving technology to proactively identify supply base risks, protect continuity of supply, and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
- Bachelor's Degree (Engineering/Finance/Business Administration)
