Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Training Specialist to spearhead the development and execution of a comprehensive training program for school principals in Upper and Lower Sindh.

The selected candidate will design and deliver high-quality training materials, develop differentiated support for teachers, school leaders, and field management teams, and establish mechanisms for training needs analysis and content development.

  • Create training programs that cater to the diverse needs of staff across formal schools, including flagship and partnership schools.
  • Pilot various training delivery options, such as virtual, cascade, and direct methods suitable for TCF's network.
  • Define the role of technology in delivering effective training and professional development workshops.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and review training materials specifically for the professional development of principals.
  2. Create a professional development strategy/roadmap tailored to different cohorts based on delivery medium, expertise, tenure, performance, and program rollout.
  3. Lead the redesign and support the execution of core training programs: PRESET and summer INSET for teachers and principals.
  4. Design and develop quality training materials and resources to meet varying needs.
  5. Build capacity within the team to become effective trainers and design thinkers.
  6. Oversee the development and implementation of teacher competency assessments.
  7. Collaborate with relevant departments on the design, execution, and evaluation of training programs.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English & Urdu
  • Excellent interpersonal, project management, and team management skills
  • Experience in designing training modules, applying design thinking, and conducting in-person and online training sessions
  • Ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely
  • Knowledge of teaching practices
  • Reflective thinking skills
  • Passion for working with under-served communities
Education and Experience

A Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's degree preferred, especially in Education, Humanities, or Social Sciences. A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in teaching or professional development is also required.

Employment Details

This is a full-time position at the mid-senior level.
