Restaurant Area Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Area Manager to drive restaurant revenue and profitability.

You will lead efficient operations, maintain quality standards, and deliver exceptional customer service.

  • Manage entire restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house.
  • Ensure high standards of guest services and absolute customer satisfaction.
  • Respond promptly to customer complaints and take corrective action.
  • Maintain high-quality products and services.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and training.
  • Evaluate staff performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Assist with HR development and recruiting.
  • Forecast sales, estimate consumption, and manage inventory.
  • Promote products and brand image through Local Store Marketing (LSM).
  • Comply with sanitation and safety regulations.
  • Foster a positive working environment and lead by example.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the entire restaurant operations team in delivering exceptional customer service and achieving business objectives.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to improve restaurant efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
  3. Monitor and control costs, including food, labor, and overhead expenses.
  4. Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and finance, to achieve business goals.
  5. Identify areas for improvement and develop plans to address them.
  6. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including employees, customers, and suppliers.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role.
  • Career experience in customer service management, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of food and multiple cuisines.
  • Familiarity with local market demographics and eating habits.
  • Proficiency in English and computer literacy.
  • Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills.
  • Acutely aware of financial management principles.
