Energy and Infrastructure Lawyer

As an Energy and Infrastructure Lawyer, you will have the opportunity to work with high-profile clients on diverse legal advisory projects.

You will advise clients on commercial and corporate topics, including day-to-day advice, and be involved in a wide variety of energy and infrastructure transactions across multiple countries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work on energy and infrastructure transactions, including greenfield project development and project finance transactions.
  • Develop regulatory frameworks for evolving utility markets.
  • Manage leads and opportunities from other areas of the law practice and the wider EY network.
  • Contribute to the development of the legal practice through initiatives such as delivering internal training and producing expert articles.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience as a qualified lawyer from a reputable legal practice environment.
  • Good knowledge of common topics within the sector, such as project agreements and construction contracts.
  • Ability to develop regulatory frameworks and negotiate skills.
  • Fluency in Arabic is ideal but not required.
