IoT Solutions Expert Role

This key role is responsible for collaborating with customers and internal teams to design and deliver cutting-edge IoT solutions. The successful candidate will leverage deep technical expertise to provide pre-sales support, create tailored proposals, and lead product demonstrations that effectively address customer needs.

As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving the growth of our IoT business while ensuring customer success and satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
  • Solution Design & Architect: Work closely with the sales team to design and propose IoT solutions that meet customer requirements. Provide technical advice regarding IoT architectures, components, and deployment strategies.
  • Pre-sales Presentations & Demonstrations: Deliver product demos, presentations, and technical workshops to customers, communicating the value proposition and capabilities of the IoT solutions in alignment with customer needs.
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with customers to understand their technical and business requirements. Translate these requirements into effective solutions that meet business goals while addressing scalability, security, and operational needs.
  • Proposal Creation: Develop detailed technical proposals and responses to Requests for Proposal (RFPs), including cost estimates, architectural diagrams, solution descriptions, and project timelines.
  • Proof of Concept (PoC) & Pilot Projects: Lead or support the development and execution of Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and pilot projects for potential customers to demonstrate the feasibility and benefits of the proposed IoT solutions.
  • Competitive Analysis: Conduct technical analysis of competitor offerings, identifying differentiators and helping to position our IoT solutions more effectively in the marketplace.
  • Customer Engagement: Provide ongoing support throughout the sales cycle, from initial customer interactions to contract signing. Address technical queries and ensure customers are well-informed about the solutions being proposed.
  • Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with the sales, product, and platform teams to ensure proposed solutions are technically viable and can be successfully delivered. Ensure smooth transitions from presales to the delivery phase.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of IoT technologies and architectures: Familiarity with IoT platforms, cloud, edge computing, connectivity, sensors, and devices.
  • Familiarity with IoT protocols: Knowledge of MQTT, CoAP, HTTP, and other relevant protocols.
  • Knowledge of analytics and data processing frameworks: Experience with analytics and data processing frameworks in the context of IoT solutions.
  • Exposure to enterprise IT systems: Understanding of security, scalability, and compliance in IoT implementations.
