Job Description

The Senior Pharmacist will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations in their assigned area, ensuring accurate and timely information is provided. This includes effective utilization of expertise to support healthcare professionals with drug information and guidance.

  • Manage and supervise daily activities in the assigned area.
  • Provide expert advice on drug information and medication management.
  • Participate in publishing Pharmacy newsletters, posters, and institutional presentations.
  • Manage inventory and ensure efficient Hospital Pharmacy operations.
  • Train staff and interns on drug information protocols and clinical pharmacy best practices.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals across departments to ensure safe and effective medication use and management.
Main Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee daily activities in the assigned area to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  2. Utilize expertise to provide drug information and guidance to healthcare professionals.
  3. Develop and publish Pharmacy newsletters, posters, and institutional presentations.
  4. Manage inventory and implement efficient processes for Hospital Pharmacy operations.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree with 8-10 years of experience in a clinical pharmacy or drug information role, supervisory experience preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of drug information resources and control procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, analytical abilities, and research skills.
