Pharmacy Operations Manager

This position is based in Karachi Division, Pakistan.
Main Responsibilities:- The incumbent will coordinate with pharmacists to ensure the seamless execution of handover protocols and submit daily reports to senior pharmacy staff.
- He/She will be responsible for supervising the dispensation and distribution of unit-dose drugs, ensuring patient profiles and computerized physician order entry systems are thoroughly reviewed to prevent medication interactions and promote rational drug use.
- The successful candidate will manage inventory stock levels, suggesting adjustments as necessary.
- Requisitions will be prepared and forwarded to the pharmacy store as required.
- Goods received from the pharmacy store will be physically inspected and shelved in their designated locations at specified temperatures.
- The incumbent will provide accurate and up-to-date drug information to healthcare professionals when requested.
- Monthly inspections of nursing units and clinics will be conducted, monitoring proper storage and distribution of patient floor stock, controlled substances, and emergency medications.
- The pharmacist will ensure high-risk medications are properly labeled and all associated precautions and information are provided for safe administration.
