Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Ocean Freight Export LCL Customer Services, Documentation, and Operations Teams to guarantee accuracy and compliance in all tasks.">
  • Manage internal and external departmental issues with clients, carriers, and co-loaders, resolving problems efficiently and effectively.">
  • Review Bills of Lading (BLs) before issuing original BLs to ensure precision and adherence to regulatory requirements.">
  • Sign original BLs for Ocean Freight Export LCL shipments, maintaining the highest level of professionalism and attention to detail.">
  • Follow up with carriers regarding payments and issues related to the release of Master Bills of Lading (MBLs), ensuring timely resolution.">
  • Coordinate with carriers and agents regarding vessel arrivals and container release statuses, minimizing delays and maximizing efficiency.">
  • Address and resolve customer and agent complaints, providing exceptional service and support.">
  • Oversee ISF and AMS filings for USA and Canada shipments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.">
  • Handle FMC rate filings for USA shipments, maintaining accurate records and meeting deadlines.">
  • Obtain FIATA, AVALON, and Bond certificates from relevant associations, enhancing professional credentials.">
  • Ensure the achievement of departmental KPIs, driving business growth and success.">

Requirements and Skills:

  • ">
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in ocean freight export LCL operations.">
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.">
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely.">
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.">
  • Excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.">
  • Strong multitasking ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously, meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations.">
  • Exceptional follow-up skills to ensure tasks and projects are completed in a timely manner, providing regular updates and progress reports.">
