Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled IT engineer to join our team.

This role involves providing technical assistance to colleagues, diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware incidents, and helping colleagues with their day-to-day IT needs.

As an Associate IT Engineer, you will be responsible for providing 1st to 3rd level support for all IT systems and services, including the customer call center.

  • Log and track incidents via Jira and follow incident management processes.
  • Work on escalated incidents from the IT Service Desk, ensuring timely resolution within SLAs.
  • Provide remote support to drive down the support queue.
  • Support the Call Center by providing technical support and configuring hardware devices.
  • Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving faults, and managing maintenance cycles with vendors.
  • Install new hardware, software, and printers.
  • Implement and assist in rolling out new applications and operating systems.
  • Prepare new laptops, install computer hardware, operating systems, and applications for new joiners.
  • Work with HR to process leavers, disable account access, collect HW devices, revoke application licenses, and uninstall software.
  • Coordinate with local suppliers for asset management/tagging and tracking.
  • Provide technology-related issue support to colleagues.
  • Meet room support for tele/video conferencing solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computing or a similar discipline.
  • Well-experienced IT support/infrastructure engineer with working knowledge of IAM, MDM, Office 365 or Google Apps, Slack, Zoom, Meraki WiFi, Apple Mac, Windows, VMWare, and Public/Private cloud technologies.
  • IT certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, ITIL.
  • 2-3 years of experience.
  • Ability to support on Saturdays (shift rotation).
  • Effective communication of project information to superiors.
  • Delivers engaging, informative presentations.
  • Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
  • Communicates difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
