Job Role Overview

The role of Deputy General Manager Corporate encompasses strategic leadership and operational management, focusing on contractual agreements and litigation avoidance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong legal background and relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Contract Review and Drafting: Ensure contracts protect company interests and minimize litigation risks.
  2. Legal Advice and Guidance: Provide timely professional opinions to user departments as required.
  3. Representation: Represent the company at government and legal forums, fostering positive relationships.
  4. Litigation Support: Assist legal counsel in managing lawsuits involving the company.
  5. Additional Tasks: Perform any other tasks assigned by superiors.

For this position, an LLB with 14 years of relevant experience and 5 years of Bar enrollment are preferred. A postgraduate diploma/diploma in corporate law is considered an additional advantage. Candidates with an LLM will be given priority consideration.
