Sales Manager Job Description

This is a highly autonomous role that requires a strong degree of business development to establish the sales team in its target market. The National Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a national distribution setup, managing and building a sales team, and establishing the team in its target market.

Key Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in sales at a food company
  • 3 years' experience in a national sales management role with a proven track record
  • Experience in managing sales people, FMCG, and relationship building at all levels of national organizations

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting budgets, training, coaching, and developing the sales team, as well as ensuring delivery of sales targets and parameters.
