Business Development Specialist

Main Responsibilities:

  • Execute cold calls to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Maintain and leverage professional networks to meet potential clients.
  • Identify key decision makers within client organizations.
  • Research and establish relationships with new clients.
  • Schedule meetings between client decision makers and technical teams.
  • Develop proposals that address client needs, concerns, and objectives.
  • Pricing solutions and services.
  • Handle objections through clarification, emphasis on agreements, and working through differences.
  • Persuade or negotiate appropriately using various styles.
  • Present new products and services to enhance existing relationships.
  • Collaborate with technical staff and internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
  • Organize and participate in client briefs.
  • Track and record account activity to close deals and meet targets.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a business development manager/sales executive or relevant role.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Business Development in the Software Industry.
  • A proven sales track record.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce).
  • Excellent English language skills.
  • Strong communication and people skills.
  • Demonstrable experience in high-level negotiations.
  • Effective time management and planning skills.
