Assistant Manager Finance Job

As a key member of our financial team, you will play a vital role in overseeing the organization's financial health and ensuring its continued viability.

  • Develop strategic and long-term financial plans with the financial manager and management team to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Prepare periodic, quarterly, and annual internal financial statements for management meetings to inform decision-making and drive business outcomes.
  • Review and analyze financial statements and key metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Assist in preparing consolidated financial reports, journal entries, and deliverables on a regular basis to meet working capital requirements and support decision-making.
  • Participate in analysis, provide recommendations, and engage in discussions related to consolidation and reporting to drive business outcomes and improve financial performance.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead efficiency enhancement projects to drive cost savings and productivity gains.
  • Support decision-making with financial data and analysis to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Contribute to various projects, ad-hoc analyses, and reporting tasks to drive business outcomes and improve financial performance.
  • Assist with cash flow forecasting and monitoring to meet working capital requirements and support decision-making.
  • Support month-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Create revenue recognition rules in accordance with ASC 606 standards to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Assist in designing a functional chart of accounts to ensure effective financial reporting and analysis.
Qualifications & Skills
  • ACCA certification or related academic background is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-8 years of relevant experience, preferably in a technology firm, with expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, and other ERP systems to drive financial performance and efficiency.
  • Experience with taxation, including corporate tax, withholding tax filings, sales tax, and income tax to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Experience handling petty cash and verification processes to ensure efficient and accurate financial reporting.
  • Exceptional team management skills to drive collaboration and productivity.
  • Expertise in Excel, including complex formulas, to drive financial analysis and reporting.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements (SECP, SRB, FBR, etc.) to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills to drive effective stakeholder engagement and communication.
  • Ability to manage accounts receivable and accounts payable to drive financial performance and efficiency.
  • Knowledge of US taxes and accounting is required to ensure compliance and accuracy.
