  • This onsite, night shift role involves designing and implementing a Story Feature that enables sellers to share engaging visual stories with buyers globally.
  • The feature will allow sellers to save select stories as Highlights on their profiles, showcasing key collections and items.

Your work will directly impact the way sellers and buyers interact, creating a dynamic and interactive marketplace experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a seamless frontend using React.js and REST API backend with Node.js.
  • Ensure the feature is optimized for performance, scalable, and mobile-friendly.
  • Collaborate with the product team to refine the user experience and deliver a polished final product.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in full-stack development.
  • Strong proficiency in React.js (frontend) and Node.js (backend).
  • Hands-on experience building interactive features.
  • Knowledge of REST API design, scalability, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with responsive and mobile-first design.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Points:

  • Previous experience building social media-like features.
  • Understanding of media optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with cloud services for media storage and CDN integration.
