Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced logistics manager to oversee trade-related documentation, supervise cotton execution documents, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to procure cotton effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all trade-related documentation, including trade contracts, purchase & sale invoices, delivery challans, delivery orders, and goods receipt notes.
  • Supervise cotton execution documents and manage field selectors to ensure effective procurement.
  • Calculate daily Mark to Market (MTM) counterparty risk and coordinate with the finance department to perform tasks such as booking purchases, sales, and transfers in the system.
  • Verify correctness of all documents, including sales tax calculation, transport documentation, and dispatch procedures.
  • Perform book closing procedures, such as monthly stock reconciliation, physical stock verification, and preparing stock reports.
  • Communicate with stakeholders involved in cotton trade, including brokers, ginners, customers, and cotton selectors.
  • Verify vendor/service provider bills against work orders for accuracy and authenticity.
  • Review legal documents regarding scope and expiry, and amend as needed per regulatory, business, or legal requirements.
  • Maintain organized filing and documentation for future reference and audits.
  • Release reports on a daily, weekly, fortnightly, monthly, and yearly basis.
  • Maintain and update inventory files daily.
  • Manage cotton position and assist in cotton import processes.
