Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Support Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about animal welfare and has excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and organize treatment areas, examination rooms, hospital areas, cages, and laboratories to ensure a safe and healthy environment for clients and patients.
  • Sterilize equipment and supplies to maintain high standards of hygiene.
  • Provide empathetic care to hospitalized patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  • Assist with administering medication, drawing blood, and cleaning patients' teeth under the guidance of veterinarians and veterinary technicians.
  • Perform diagnostic imaging and laboratory tests as required.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a veterinary setting or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, lifting, and bending.
