This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to project operations, office management, and facilities within a dynamic team. As a Team Assistant, you will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, coordinating communications, and facilitating project activities to ensure team productivity.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate relationships with government, private sector, and civil society clients and partners.
  • Communicate and liaise with units across the Bank and with team members at headquarters and in Pakistan.
  • Draft documents, translate when necessary, and proofread in English.
  • Use word processing, shared drives, and desktop publishing to produce reports, graphs, and figures following Bank formats.
  • Manage schedules, monitor changes, and communicate updates to staff and external officials.
  • Assist in event planning and logistics for conferences, workshops, and meetings.
  • Monitor task budgets and performance metrics.
  • Track project steps and provide assistance on project-related matters.
  • Undertake analytical and writing assignments as needed.
  • Maintain distribution lists, contact lists, and files (paper and electronic).
  • Maintain confidentiality of the unit.
  • Support WB missions and staff visits, including preparation, coordination, and logistics.

To succeed in this role, you will require strong communication skills in English and Urdu, initiative, results-driven, and able to work under tight deadlines. Excellent interpersonal skills and team collaboration are also essential. You will have a bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably with or for the WBG, and knowledge of its systems and procedures. Understanding of government systems is desirable.
