Job Description
  • The successful candidate will oversee the daily operations of our pharmacy services department, ensuring seamless delivery of customer care and efficient management of resources.
  • A key focus area for this role is to guarantee that customers receive accurate prescriptions and timely service.
  • To ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, the Pharmacy Operations Supervisor must stay up-to-date on state regulations and maintain an approved list of prescription drugs and controlled substances.
  • This position also entails excellent communication skills, as the supervisor will be interacting with customers regarding queries and issues.
  • The supervisor will lead by example in providing high standards of customer service to clients, promoting a positive work environment, and empowering staff to achieve their full potential.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (PharmD) from a recognized university or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • Three to five years of managerial experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably in a chain of pharmacies.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong time-management, staff management, and organizational skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical uses and side effects of prescription drugs and controlled substances.
  • Advanced knowledge of protocols regulating the safe storage of prescription drugs and controlled substances.
