Your key responsibilities will include:
- Architecting, designing, and developing cloud software applications.
- Collaborating with Product, Infrastructure, Design, UX, CLM, and Strategy teams to deliver high-quality products.
- Enforcing agile practices such as test-driven development, CI & test automation.
- Cultivating technical backlogs and prioritizing between immediate and future needs.
- Analyzing and remediating production issues and building fault tolerance into system architecture.
- Being a software guardian, owning non-functional requirements, architectural direction, and quality of code.
- Mentoring team members on good code design patterns and hiring A-players to build High Performing Teams.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent field.
- 10+ years of server/client-side software development experience.
- Minimum of 3+ years in a Management Role.
- In-depth understanding of free and open-source software development, e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, Objective C, etc.
- Strong understanding of scalability and high availability systems.
- Experience in operations and managing live production applications, monitoring, remediation, and incident management.
- Strong understanding of RESTful service design, API design, and best practices for building resilient and maintainable distributed systems.
