Business Operations Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Business Operations Lead to assist the COB Manager in acting as a key point of contact to all client on-boarding stakeholders for the location. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring seamless operations and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Compliance: The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of DB KYC/COB Policies and preferably central bank rules and regulations relating to KYC/AML. They will maintain effective relationships with business managers, AML, Compliance, Credit, Management and other Back Office areas.
  • Critical Issue Resolution: The role holder will assist both business and COB analysts with the resolution of complex and special case issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimising downtime.
  • Metric Reporting: The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and producing critical metrics and reporting which provide data related to department performance, risk quantification and stratification, and resource capacity limitations.
  • Risk Identification: They will stay abreast on AFC related regulatory changes and industry trends and topics to ensure the quality of the CDD operation meets policy requirements. The role holder will also analyse AFC risks associated with the client from a technical perspective, identify and escalate potential risks and operational issues as appropriate.
  • Process Improvement: The Business Operations Lead will work with on-boarding process stakeholders with regards to identifying process inefficiency (and deficiency) and contribute to the overall reduction in turnaround times.
  • Audit Support: They will assist the COB Manager during internal/external audits and KYC related queries from the local regulators, ensuring smooth audit processes and minimizing disruptions.
  • Documentation Handling: The role holder will manage general KYC documentation handling/scanning and filing of physical documents, maintaining accurate records and adhering to company policies.
  • Communication: The Business Operations Lead will manage ad hoc allocation of priority cases to respective Makers and Checkers and handle the communication to team, ensuring clear and timely updates.
Requirements:
